I often get my inspiration through great designers, artists and nature. Although the best makeup I come across are in my dreams.
It came to me in a dream last night, blondes as tall as trees wearing military headgears, getting ready for a high fashion war. Painting lightbolt under their eyes with sticks and mud as if the eyes were threatening clouds themselves. Pale lips were in order to camouflage their most sensual attribute. They were ready for the most Fabulous battle there ever was! and then I woke up!
Pour le maquillage ( for the makeup )
The foundation I wear is Dior Nude in shade 31 as I have very yellow undertone, Dior has a great way of sorting out their foundation by associating the second number with a shade. 0 is neutral , 1 is yellow , 2 is pink and 3 is apricot.
I used Chanel Soleil de Tan as my shader for enhancing my cheekbones and making my jawline sharper.
For the eyes I used a paintpot from MAC for the base called Painterly. It is longlasting and easy to work with. I then made an under smokey eye with Stylo yeux in Ebene and Illusion d'ombre in Mirifique from Chanel.Mirifique was also used to create the lightbolt as under studio lights it would appear metallic.(also an amazing and quick smokey product for your nights out!!) . Finally I used Le Sourcil de Chanel , and eyebrow palett for...my eyebrows! Its a great product as you can choose how dark you want your eyebrows to be and therefore give you many different looks.
I used my foundation for my lips as I wanted my eyes to be the main focus on this look. Make sure you hydrate your lips before with balm like Eve's kiss from Rituals cosmetics as the foundation with catch on flaky skin.
